WE MADE IT!!!

We're wiped out so here's the quick and dirty, we'll try to come back in the morning and
add the gory details when we can form proper sentences.

We had a mostly uneventful flight - we chased the sun all day so it never got dark and
landed at 3:30AM Sammy time which is 4:30PM Ellie time, she's 13 hours ahead so we
lost a day - small price to pay.

Kevin was marveling on how amazing it was that we weren't more tired given that we were
inching up to being awake for 24 hours. We are convinced the difference this time is the
direct flight - let's hope it works the same way when we head home!

There was some interesting entertainment and sights in the taxi, but it wasn't enough to
keep the adrenaline from seeping out of our bodies as we sat in traffic between the
airport and Seoul.

Mom, the hotel is nice - we are on the other side of the hill this time, more city and river
views, I'm going to miss eating breakfast next to the window overlooking the
hill/park/tower.

Dad - remember Kevin's big talk about how we should tough it out and stay up a couple
hours when we get here to get on Korea time and avoid being awake at 4:00 in the
morning? Well, guess who is sawing logs well before 7:00pm? He better be adding to this
update when he's up tomorrow morning, and he better be quiet about it!

Sammy did you find another surprise waiting for you this morning? Did you eat sushi last
night?  Are you being fabulous for Nona & Pops? We miss you tons and tons!

I'm having trouble loading some of the pictures, I'll try to figure that out tomorrow,
when we have the good stuff (Ellie) to post!

Even though I am a night-owl through and through, for once, I am happy to see the sun
finally go down - so I'm off to bed! We've got a big day tomorrow!

xoxo

NOTES FROM NONA
Sammy had a great day...what appeared to be a 6am wake up call turned out to be only a trip down the hall to
sleep with Nona (he really knows how to snuggle) & Pops...until 9am. Mommy & Daddy's surprise helped us  --
potty and dressed before heading downstairs.  He kept asking if the surprise was something to eat, well sort
of. On they way home from grocery shopping he decided  a snooze was required. The rest of the day was busy
playing inside and  out.

Lights out tonight 8:30...score one for Nona!

PS - send my baby's pictures!  We are all good here Sam knows it 5 sleeps and then you are home with his
baby sister Eloise.. he has been great!
Love Mom

Trying to stay awake in the taxi & looking worse than our passport photos
- who knew that was even possible?!
